'Tis the Season

No, I don't mean Christmas time. 'Tis baseball season! Yes, it's that time of the year again when the great American pastime reappears on the tube and in the stadiums, or in our case, in the park. It has always been an important time of the year in our family. In fact, when I was pregnant with Drew, my father was relieved that I was going to be induced before Opening day so he wouldn't miss out- and I don't mean he would have missed the Astros! Hee hee!

This is the first year (of many I would assume) that Drew has participated in Pee wee baseball. The city of Bryan has a parent/child baseball program where Drew and Trey get to play/practice the fundamentals of baseball. They ran the bases, threw the balls at a target, hit the ball off the tee, and fielded ground balls. We found out that Drew has great potential to be the next great pitcher or perhaps the next Babe Ruth, but may not be the best choice for shortstop. Happy Baseball season!

What fun! I felt like I was in the park with you. What a great hitter!
I'll bet Grandpa Tommy is very proud.
Not to mention Dad and Mom.
Love you greatly! Thanks for sharing.
