Jesus was a very tidy carpenter...

Drew has always been quite creative in his prayers, and he always had quite a fascination, no obsession really, with vacuum cleaners. And of lately, he has really started putting together some of the "religious" pieces he has gleaned in his last 4 years. He has started praying and thanking God for baby Jesus and so on. Well, the other night he said the prayer at dinner that went something like this:

"Dear God, Thank you for baby Jesus. I saw him there sleeping in the manger. He was taking a little rest... He was there vacuuming up the sawdust with a vacuum." At this point, I couldn't contain my laughter.

The next night he added a new twist. Jesus was not only vacuuming up the sawdust, but evidentally he was using his nail gun and air compressor as well. As Trey said, Jesus was a carpenter... Drew is just too funny!

Side note: We bought a new vacuum this week- Drew thinks it is his and was for his birthday or something! And Trey has been busy using the tools to build stuff. ;)

I can't wait to see what he does when he grows up. I am sure he will put more together than he takes apart as he gets older!

How cute and how creative is our little Drew the Builder. God bless him as he learns more about the Bible (even though he has his own version).
Love you all greatly!
