My sweet baby turned one today! I can't believe how time flies... it seems like it was only yesterday we were wrapping him up in his little glow worm blanket to fight the jaundice, that Drew was still able to hold him, that he was a tiny little... okay well, maybe not that. Again, he is a continued blessing to us all. I love how he smiles, snorts back and forth with me, is so easy to please, giggles when we kiss his neck, loves to give kisses to mommy, loves to hear the "Three Little Fishies" song, loves to splash his brother in the tub, loves to eat especially cheerios and spaghetti, gets down on the floor and can play forever, and how he just loves to watch the wild antics of his older brother and laugh. Garrett is such a sweetheart- appropriate for his birth month I guess.
We spent the day running around doing errands while Drew was at school, but we went to eat at Garrett's favorite place, Fazoli's, for dinner. He had spaghetti, fettucine, pizza, and breadsticks- just a sampling of everything. We cut him off after he decided to start putting fettucine in my purse. Don't think that was a great doggie bag.

Then we went to the grocery store to grab a few things and meet back up with Daddy and Drew at the house. Garrett opened his presents from Drew & us and then we sang to him. He incidentally wanted nothing to do with his cupcake. So unlike this kid! We hope to have a big birthday bash with the family in a couple of weeks.
In addition, now that he is 12 months old, Garrett can crawl well on all 4s, snort, eat spaghetti on his own, and has just begun to cruise! The bathroom is a favorite curiosity as is Drew's room. Sibling rivaly has now begun!

One year already?! He is so stinkin' cute! I feel like I say that in every post, but it's just so true!!
Wow! I can't believe he's one already. It seems like it was just yesterday when Kim was getting married and you were giving out all of that advice on pregnancy. I am sure you know what I am talking about. Give him a birthday kiss from Jeff, Sofie and me please.

Happy Birthday Garrett! Sounds like you had a really great one! I am looking forward to my own very soon. That spaghetti looks really good too... I will have to talk to my mommy about getting me some of that. Congrats on your first year!
