
Stinks!!! Drew recently received some GeoTrax that were duplicates of some other toys he had already gotten. Since I was with my mother when they were purchased, I knew the extra trains came from Toys R Us, and I would easily be able to exchange them for some different GeoTrax that he didn't already own. Should be simple right? I would have even spent a few dollars extra to make up the difference between what we purchased and what we were exchanging... so they would have made a few bucks! Drew and I stood in the customer service line for about 15 minutes (not bad considering they only had one person working a very crowded customer service lane!) until we were told under no circumstance would they exchange, credit, or take returns for any items without a receipt! So Drew will have multiples I guess this year, unless perhaps I can find a more reasonable retailer that would exchange them for me.
So beware! Do NOT sign up for a baby registry at Toys r Us, because unless a gift receipt is included, they will not let you even exchange an item!!! And if you plan on buying any gifts, be sure to include your receipt!!!
You would think they would at least post their new policy in the check out lane for unknowing Christmas shoppers! So much for that store!!! They get the grinchy award for the year from this mommy!

I called my store and they gavie me the same line. Toys R Us used to be one of my favorite stores to buy kids' toys at. No more! Thanks for the heads up.
