Drew at the Pumpkin Patch

Today Drew and Mommy went with the church playgroup to the Corn Maize, which is a little corn field outside of town that has a huge maze plowed through their corn field. There are many other activities to do as well. Drew chose to go on a hay ride with some friends to a pumpkin patch. After the ride, he rode on the cow train! We had planned to have a picnic and spend more time, but it was quite nippy, and we were cold. We all had lots of fun though!

This is Drew looking out at the water while we were waiting to get on the hay ride. He was fascinated with the water. We nearly missed the hayride because Drew wanted to stay and look at the pond. He wasn't crazy about the hayride to begin with, but when we started moving, he decided it wasn't so bad after all.

Drew scoured the pumpkin patch to find that perfect pumpkin. He thought it was lots of fun and absolutely hilarious for Mommy to chase him through the moist, muddy field and to step on all the imperfect pumpkins and gourds along the way.

At last, Drew found the perfect pumpkin from the patch. He brought it back to the tractor to take home.

To finish off his adventure, Drew took a ride on the cow train with his friends. (That's him in the maroon Aggie jacket next to last, of course...) What a fun morning!
